Atomistic modeling of materials and ultra high temperature processes.
STEM3M is your one-stop solution for anything related to materials science and engineering. Our passion is creating efficient and cost-effective novel processes and materials through ab-initio atomistic modeling tools such as density functional theory and finding smart ways to synthesize new materials. If you are looking for a unique solution for a persistent and difficult problem, contact us now!

High temperature systems
We custom-build furnaces and ultra-high temperature systems that are made based on process requirements. One of our passions is process design at ultra-high temperatures by taking thermochemistry to a whole new level! We use various hot zones (W, Mo, Ta and graphite) for reaching temperatures between 1700°C to 3000°C. If you ever need to design a process at such temperatures, let us know!

Atomistic modeling
We use density functional theory (DFT) and molecular dynamics (MD) for understanding materials properties at the atomic level, which gives us immense potential in tailoring material's properties and enhancing their performance for a wide range of applications, including mechanical, electronic, and optical fields. Calculation of defect equilibria and its relations to materials properties are specially close to our hearts.

Collaborative academic studies
The power of science and engineering is truly appreciated only through collaborations and interdisciplinary studies. Therefore, our resources are always available to members of academia who may need our support. We are always honored to contribute towards progress of science through collaborations with universities, worldwide, and we are proud to be working with academics in 4 continents!
